Project: Graham Cracker Houses.
Goal: To create a little village while having fun at the same time.
Result: Loads of happy faces.
What a great project this was! We made a little village and the kids got to control their own design! Icing was really easy and they all look beautiful. This is something that could be done anytime of the year with various theme's not just for Christmas.
Oh to live in those houses!
Royal Icing
4 cups Icing sugar1/2 tsp cream of tartar
3 egg whites
In a bowl sift together the icing sugar and cream of tartar. Beat in egg whites for 7 to 10 minutes until icing is thick enough to hold shape. Keep at room temperature and cover - do not refridgerate - if not using right away or saving half for round 2.
