reverb 10 / prompt 8 / beautifully different.

I stumbled upon something. something to cause reflection.

through one of my favorite blogs i stumbled upon the ladies at reverb10 and this little project they have conjured up. i have decided to play along. they started at the beginning of the month but i am going to go from today as not heap more on my plate and enjoy the process, more casual approach - the husband is worried that i try to do to much as to portray this martha-esq holiday for everyone and not enjoy myself in the process, sweet sweet man.

December 8 – Beautifully Different. Think about what makes you different and what you do that lights people up. Reflect on all the things that make you different – you’ll find they’re what make you beautiful. (Author: Karen Walrond)

gosh. what a topic. how does one answer without sounding conceited?

what makes me different is that i have the two greatest little chickens around and i may not do things that light other people up but they sure do things that light me up. yes, i have my special qualities (adoring other people, wanting to make them welcome and always wanting to make a celebration over the top) but these two special beings melt my heart and make me feel beautiful everyday.

there is just that way they are special and the special bond that mom's and kids have that is beautifully different in each and every way.
i don't know if i really answered this properly (is there a proper way?) because I am my own worst critic but i think i did answer it from the heart. hopefully we will have more success tomorrow!

I ha the same thought! "How do I answer this prompt with out sounding like I'm full of myself" hahaha! Very well done.

I've read the FAQ for reverb10, and I Do think that if you answered from your heart, you answered it exactly right.
